Rice Paddy Pete was the second Shih
Tzu
we bought. We trained him and began
showing
him. Unfortunately, Pete's teeth did
not
come in properly, so he became our house
buddy.
Everybody
loves Pete and his antics. His huge,
dark
eyes just beg "Please pick me up". Pete
is
our resident comedian -- watch for Pete on
"Funniest
Home Videos".
In
April of 2001 Pete was diagnosed with
Cushings'
Disease. He was still as loveable as always and so stoic. He
lost all of his hair, developed skin so thin it would bleed at the slightest
touch and then a tumor in his eye ruptured. Pete left us on October
12th.....in
body
but not in spirit. |
